If you want to access abortion services in Northern Ireland, BPAS are taking bookings for clients on behalf of the following Health and Social Care Trusts:

South Eastern Trust

Western Trust.

You will receive a call for consultation within 5 working days or earlier.

All clients will be referred to their local Health Trust in the first instance for triaging and consultation.

Additional Information

In Northern Ireland medical abortion is available for pregnancies up to 24 weeks (and over 24 weeks in limited circumstances).

Surgical abortion is available in Northern Ireland for pregnancies up to 20 weeks on the day of surgery.

Work is ongoing to set up a surgical abortion service in Northern Ireland for pregnancies up to 24 weeks.

For surgical abortion services that are not yet available in Northern Ireland, you can access free abortion care in Great Britain. This will be arranged by a Northern Ireland HSC Trust.
